On August 6th I told you about a special offer from Mira. By filling out the short request form you could receive 2 free romance novels. I requested the books myself, and here they are! They were 100% free!
Now I have the option to continue receiving novels, or I may cancel. Either way I have to great books, a newsletter, and a bookmark to keep. Here was the original post:
“As a stay at home mom, the only time I have to read is while I sit outside watching the kids run and play. They run wild, and I am usually so exhausted that I sit on the porch with a good book and a lemonade.
Mira is giving away two completely free Mira novels! You do not even have to pay shipping or handling. These free books are valued at $10. Keep them and pay nothing, and then you have two options. You can either a) continue to receive them and buy them, sending the ones you do not want back OR b) cancel your Mira membership, keep your books, and still owe nothing.
I ordered my free books, and can’t wait for them to arrive. They come with free surprises too. I have been a member in the past and received free wine glasses, free drinking glasses, free postcards, free bookplates, free bookmarks, and much more!”

On several occasions we have told you how to get a free ticket for your baby to the Ringling Bros circus. I used mine on Sunday. It was so much fun, and the show around 2.5 hours long.
Newborns and infants under 12 months can receive a free ticket to Ringling Bros Circus. Parents, or grandparents, must register baby’s birth at the Ringling Bros site and they will receive one free ticket for baby.
Parents of multiples must mail in for their free ticket. The address is listed on the Ringling Bros website. I don’t see an expiration date on the tickets or the offer. Your baby must be age 12 months or younger to qualify.
On Thursday 8/19/2010 for 14 hours you will have the chance to get 5 free 8 x 10 prints from Ritzpix. Shipping or pickup is $2.99, and the prints are valued at $25.
Visit on 8/19 from 8am-10pm EST and use coupon code 5FREE. These prints are great to frame and hang on your wall, or even to share with friends and family. I will be ordering mine on Thursday, and you should too.
“Ritzpix’s origin dates back to 1918. In that year Benjamin Ritz began operating a portrait studio on the famous boardwalk in Atlantic City. With the success of the studio in Atlantic City, Benjamin opened additional studios in New York and Philadelphia. In 1936 Benjamin traveled to Washington DC to open a film-processing lab with his younger brother Edward. At this time their customers could get quality black and white film developed and printed overnight for 25 cents a roll.”
On August 3rd I told you about the Vistaprint 10th Anniversary giveaway. Today my free stuff arrived. I had ordered a mouse pad with our family vacation picture on it and a sticky note with my name on it.
Shipping was $4.69, and took 13 days. Not pad, as I picked the slow option which said it would take 21 days. Vistaprint always has a long list of free stuff. All you have to pay is shipping on the free items, and adding a second free item increases your shipping by just a few cents.
Friday I received a sample I had ordered for our dog Fluffy. The product is Better Than Ears. They are soft and chewy pig ear alternatives that dogs just love.
I opened the sample package and it smelled like beef jerky. It was shaped like a regular pig ear for dogs, but was colored like a reddish brown fruit roll up. Fluffy loved it!
