Free Music Downloads for Kids

My babies love music.  My 22 month old loves to dance to the tunes that he hears – even my 9 month old gets wiggly when she hears a good song!  I’ve checking out different kids music CDs from the library but was excited to find a site online that offers free music downloads for children.  Our kids find their favorite songs on the library CDs but then we have to return them – by downloading the music for ourselves, we can keep their favorite tunes handy all the time!

When choosing songs for our little ones, I try to find ones that are teaching songs – like the ABC song or counting songs or even days of the week songs.  Right now, our oldest son’s favorite song is about the “choot choot” train.  He really gets into singing along to the parts he can say and requests the song whenever get into the car.

I have found that, even just having some sort of music playing while we’re at home doing the normal daily routine, seems to help keep kiddos in a good mood.  It even seems to help them keep themselves busier and more content, just having those tunes playing!  Happier little ones makes for a happier mommy!
