Your Baby In Week 34

At this point of time when the baby is upside down in the womb gearing for the downfall, it is almost prepared for the delivery. The baby has a well developed lung system and it should not be a problem but then the baby needs the maternal calcium intake.

This is one of the most important processes during pregnancy. It is important for the fact that it will aid the baby to draw calcium from the mother. And if by chance the mother does not get enough calcium during this point in time, it does affect the bones of the mother as the baby is sure to take the minerals it need from the mother’s skeletal structure. It will take as much as its requirement. The hair line – lanugo hair is completely gone by his week and if it is not all gone then it will be post birth. Also the vernix coating on the baby’s skin is becoming thicker. Baby now is 5 pounds and stands 12.6 inches.

If the nightmare was not enough, now you also have problem sleeping. And it is now the case ever since week 27. You need to visit the toilet every now and then but then there is no escape, you got to do all this for your comfort and for your baby. You are now so far to give up on anything. It is more of the anxiety that is keeping you awake than anything else. You are too much worried about how this is going to turn out to be. You have a lot on the mind to let you sleep.

What you can try is to sleep in different sleep position and if you do get sleep in a position today, try the same thing for tomorrow too. You can virtually try all the kind of sleeping techniques and styles to get in the comfortable position. And you need now is a constant support of your husband or you just need someone to be taking care of you and motivating you to keep going. It is a challenging situation and you need all the support you could pull out at this point in time of your pregnancy.
